The present invention relates to a method for regulating stem elongation of plants by substituting base sequence on a binding site on microRNA for a gene for transcriptional regulatory factor acting in an AP2 domain. The present invention further relates to a transgenic plate produced by the method. The transgenic plant produced by the method for regulating stem elongation of plants can contribute to the supplement weakness associated with quality degradation and a decrease in yield due to loading damage. Thus, the regulation of stem elongation of crops by the method of the present invention can lead to improvement in productivity and quality of the crops and can be useful for developing dwarf new varieties in a new form.
