The present invention relates to a method for predicting stiffness by correcting the active number of a helical coil spring, determining the active number of a helical coil spring receiving a compressive load and correcting a value of the active number used for an equation of a principle to improve accuracy. As such, provided is the method for predicting stiffness by correcting the active number of a helical coil spring, predicting stiffness of the spring through a finite element analysis considering sheet contact geometry of both ends of the spring and correction of the active number of the spring using a double end stress peak method in order to accurately determine the active number of the helical soil spring and accurately predict the stiffness of the spring. |
