Disclosed is a smart agricultural irrigation system comprising: a pipeline which supplies raw water in water sources such as rivers and lakes to a water reservoir that stores the raw water as an irrigation water, and branches out from the water reservoir to supply the irrigation water to an irrigation site such as farmlands; a farm pond which is installed on a pipeline upstream of the irrigation site and controls the amount of water being supplied and the amount of water actually being used; a water-level sensor for monitoring a water level in the farm pond; a valve installed on a branched part of the pipeline for controlling the amount of irrigation water being supplied; a control center which checks the water level detected by the water level sensor of the farm pond, and when the water level falls below a minimum level, supplies the irrigation water thereto by manipulating a valve on the pipeline that supplies the irrigation water to the farm pond. Accordingly, the present invention provides a highly efficient water supply network for a broad area by making use of a water reservoir and a farm pond, and utilizing various water sources available in the vicinity allows for securing enough water in cases where a water supply is low, and the various water sources can retain water in case of a flood, thereby minimizing damage due to flooding. |
