A smart farm water supply system disclosed herein comprises: a water tank which stores water provided from a water source, such as a river or lake etc.; a pipeline branching out from water tank and supplying water to a place, such as a paddy field or field, where water is used; a farm pond positioned along the pipeline upstream of the place where water is used and configured to regulate the water flow and the actual water usage; a water level detector for detecting the water level of the pond farm; a valve which is installed to regulate the water supplied to a branched portion of the pipeline; and a control center which checks the water level in the farm pond detected by the water level detector and, when the water level is below a minimum threshold value, supplies water by controlling the valve in the pipeline used for supplying water to the farm pond. Consequently, not only may a highly efficient water supply network covering a wide area be established using a water tank and a farm pond, water may be obtained using various water sources according to changes in the environment near the place where the water is used such that even when water is scarce, the maximum possible amount of water may be secured. Moreover, in the case of a flood, damage from the flood may be minimized by storing the water in a distributed manner. |
