Disclosed is a method of controlling a product flow rate from an air cart. The method involves providing an air flow from an air source supported by a frame of the air cart, providing a metering system supported by the frame of the air cart to regulate a flow of product from a storage tank also supported by the frame into the air flow and operating the metering system by moving a plurality of cup-shaped meter roller sleeves along respective rotational axes to variably expose the meter rollers to thereby control the product flow rate.
