<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stair lift which can be operated even in a narrow space and can safely and surely be supported by a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In the stair lift 100 in this embodiment, the stair lift 100 is attachable and detachable to/from a wheelchair or integrated with the wheelchair, or comprises a seat 210, and is used when ascending and descending on stairs while being mounted with a person. The stair lift also comprises: elongation/contraction support legs 300 which can move from retreat positions located rearward of the most front part of the stair lift 100 in a state that the person can get on it to operation positions for supporting the stair lift 100 when ascending and descending on the stairs; and a support device 600 which holds the support legs 300 at the retreat positions and operates the support legs 300 when an abnormality is not detected, and inhibits the movement of the support legs 300 to the retreat positions from the operation positions when the abnormality is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
