PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undergarment with good designability, wearable without being noticed by people around or without having sense of resistance, by relatively young generation women who are worried about very slight leaking of urine, and preventing water from easily oozing into a body fabric.SOLUTION: An undergarment 1 includes a front body 3, a back body 4, and a gore part 5, and includes a water absorbing fabric piece 6 on the skin side of the gore part 5. The absorbing fabric piece 6 is made of a knitted fabric, a plurality of the knitted fabrics are sewn in a superimposed condition onto a body fabric 2 on at least a front edge part 5a and a back edge part 5b of the gore part 5, the wale of the knitted fabric 61 contacting the skin is arranged so as to go along the transverse width direction of the gore part 5, and the wale 62 of the other knitted fabric superimposed on the knitted fabric 61 is arranged so as to cross the wale 61 of the knitted fabric. |
