A garment includes a torso portion and a limb portion. The garment further includes a first panel with a first lacing guide provided on the first panel and a second panel with a second lacing guide provided on the second panel. A cord extends between the first lacing guide and the second lacing guide. A cord adjustment mechanism is coupled to the cord. The cord adjustment mechanism is configured to reduce an effective length of the cord extending between the first lacing guide and the second lacing guide and draw the first panel toward the second panel.

1. A garment configured to be worn on a human body, the garment comprising:
at least one fabric portion comprised of an elastic material, the at least one fabric portion provided on a torso portion or a limb portion of the garment, the at least one fabric portion configured to provide a degree of compression to the human body depending on a degree of stretch of the at least one fabric portion; and a lacing arrangement including a cord adjustment mechanism coupled to the at least one fabric portion, the lacing arrangement configured to (i) retain the at least one fabric portion at a first degree of stretch, (ii) decrease an effective length of a cord coupled to the at least one fabric portion such that the first degree of stretch of the at least one fabric portion is increased to a second degree of stretch, and (iii) retain the at least one fabric portion at the second degree of stretch, wherein the at least one fabric portion includes a first panel, a second panel and a third panel, wherein the first area is provided on the first panel, the second area is provided on the second panel, and the third panel is provided between the first panel and the second panel, the first panel coupled to the third panel with a first fold-over gusset, and the second panel coupled to the third panel with a second fold-over gusset, wherein the first panel and the second panel are elastic and the third panel is non-elastic.
