Provided are an application processor and a semiconductor system comprising the same. The application processor comprises: a processor which includes a first register value and a second register value; a memory which stores a third register value, i.e., a copy of the first register value, and a fourth register value, i.e., a copy of the second register value, and which maps a changed third register value to the first register value of the processor or maps a changed fourth register value to the second register value of the processor if the stored third or fourth register value is changed; and a semiconductor device whose operation is controlled by the processor. The operation of the processor is controlled by the third register value, and the operation of the semiconductor device is controlled by the fourth register value.
