Disclosed are a system and a method for detecting a peak in a way adaptive to synchronization. The system comprise: a correlator performing a correlation operation with respect to N/M number of samples; a summer outputting a summation value by connecting M number of unit sliding windows with respect to the sample correlation-operated by the correlator and performing a summation with respect to the remaining cells except for the cell in the middle among N number of cells; a threshold calculator calculating an adaptive threshold by performing a moving average with respect to the summation value outputted by the summer; a maximum sample extractor extracting a sample having a value greater than the adaptive threshold calculated by the threshold calculator; an input buffer temporarily storing the N/M number of samples; and a synchronization output unit outputting the synchronized output value with respect to the sample temporarily stored in the input buffer by setting a time point of the sample extracted by the maximum sample extractor as a synchronization point. |
