<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a satisfactory response in the case where a user uses an IC card, reduce power consumption, and eliminate the time and labor to manually set a transmission interval of a communication signal which is transmitted/received between the IC card and a lock device for each time zone. <P>SOLUTION: In a lock device 1, a card communication signal is transmitted which gives power to a passive non-contact IC card 2 and becomes a carrier carrying card information of the IC card 2, and card information is received which is transmitted from the IC card 2 receiving the card communication signal. The card information is used to determine whether the IC card 2 is right and when the IC card 2 is a right IC card, an electric lock 3 is unlocked. How many times the lock device 1 operates is recorded, the average operation count of the lock device 1 per day for each time zone is calculated and, on the basis of the average operation count, a transmission interval of the card communication signal is automatically set for each time zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
