<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle-building tool capable of accurately measuring applied pressure given to muscle by a belt without requiring any pressure bags and any tubes. <P>SOLUTION: The muscle-building tool 1 is used for giving predetermined applied pressure to at least one of four limbs of a user to impair bloodstream and hence for building muscle of the four limbs. The muscle-building tool includes: the belt 10 that is wound around at least one of the four limbs to give applied pressure; a fastener 40 for maintaining a loop shape of the belt 10 while the applied pressure is applied to the muscle; a tensile force sensor 60 for measuring a tensile force acting on the belt 10 in the winding of the belt 10; and an applied pressure sensor that automatically starts operating at a point of time when the tensile force measured by the tensile force sensor 60 exceeds a predetermined threshold and measures the applied pressure given to the muscle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
