According to the present invention, a power control computing apparatus comprises a memory in which a power control program is stored, and a processor to execute the program. As the program runs, the processor monitors a plurality of running processes to select at least one process to be terminated among the processes and terminate the same. The monitoring procedure of the processor is configured to calculate the amount of input/output corresponding to each of the processes and freshness of the same. Based on the input/output amount and the freshness of the same, the processor selects a process to be terminated. The present invention is to provide a power control apparatus capable of expanding a product lifespan of a battery.
