PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting base that can uniformly spread moisture all over the planting base even when water is supplied to a part thereof and that is inexpensive.SOLUTION: The planting base comprises at least a bottom portion and can place a cultivation material on the bottom portion, where: the bottom portion has a plurality of recesses for water storage or retention, capable of storing or retaining moisture, and a plural kinds of communication parts for communicating the recesses for water storage or retention with one another to allow water to flow through; and the planting base is molded by vacuum forming as a whole. |
