Disclosed are dynamic routing apparatus and method for linking a satellite communication system with an open shortest path first (OSPF). The present invention relates to dynamic routing apparatus and method, more specifically, for linking a demand assignment based multiple access satellite communications network with an OSPF routing protocol operating communications network. To be more specific, the present invention relates to a technology of implementing a dynamic routing function with minimized load and delay between a net-control station router of a satellite communications network and a station router by using routing information obtained from routing messages of an OSPF operating communications network. According to the present invention, OSPF, which is a dynamic routing protocol, may be linked to and operated in the satellite communications network. In addition, the linking with a ground station operating OSPF allows the satellite communications network to figure out network configurations and choose an optimal path as an integrated network rather than a mere transport network. In particular, the linking is possible regardless of linking configuration, for instance, linking the satellite network with a single ground network of a single autonomous system (AS), linking the satellite network with several ground networks of multiple AS, etc. |
