PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute image contents to a projection device in which a screen panel in an indeterminate shape is mounted, after accurately recognizing the shape of the mounted screen panel.SOLUTION: An image distribution method includes: a receiving step (S102) of receiving a distribution request of contents from an external device; shape acquisition steps (S102 and S109) of acquiring information indicating a shape of a screen that the external device includes; a detection step (S109) of detecting a shape of a screen suitable for image projection of contents stored in a database (DB); and a distribution step (S112) of distributing the contents stored in the database (DB) to the external device of which the distribution request is received in the receiving step (S102) in accordance with the information acquired in the shape acquisition steps (S102 and S109) and the shape of the screen detected in the detection step (S109).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
