PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive hill hold device of which cost-increasing is restricted more as compared with that of the prior art structure.SOLUTION: A hill hold device comprises: a transmission 50 having a plurality of combinations of a sleeve 61a and a fixed gear 51 for transmitting a rotation of an engine 2 to an output shaft 41 and capable of constituting a plurality of patterns of shift stages by changing each of the combinations of engaged states; an actuator driving to engage the sleeve 61a with its corresponding fixed gear 51, or to release the engaged state with the corresponding fixed gear 51; and a control part 1 controlling the actuator to change the engaged state under the plurality of combinations of the sleeve 61a and the fixed gear 51. The control part 1 controls the actuator as a hill hold control, makes a double-engaged state under the plurality of combinations of the sleeve 61a and the fixed gear 51 at the transmission 50 so as to prevent a vehicle from being retracted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6C |
