PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure comfort by arranging a headrest body at an optimum position for a passenger.SOLUTION: A headrest comprises: a reverse input cutoff clutch 12 that comprises an input shaft 13 to which rotation torque is input, an output shaft from which the rotation torque is output, an outer wheel 15 and a side plate 16 in which rotation is restricted, a plurality of cylindrical rollers for controlling cutoff of the rotation torque input reversely from the output shaft 14 as well as transmission of the rotation torque input from the input shaft 13 by engagement and separation between the outer wheel 15 and the output shaft 14, and a holder for holding the cylindrical rollers between the outer wheel 15 and the output shaft 14; and a displacement mechanism 11 for displacing a headrest body by the rotation torque from the output shaft 14 of the reverse input cutoff clutch 12, whose one end is fixed to a stay 4 extending from a seat back and the other end is fixed to the headrest body of a seat back apex, and in which the side plate 16 of the reverse input cutoff clutch 12 is attached to the other end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
