A light guide plate receives light to provide the light for a display panel. The light guide plate includes a body and protrusion units. The body includes: a first side surface; a second side surface facing the first side surface; and an upper surface. Each of the protrusion units includes first and second protrusion units sequentially arranged from the first side surface toward the second side surface. A first width parallel to the first side surface of the first protrusion units becomes smaller as becoming more distant from the first side surface. A second width parallel to the second side surface of the second protrusion units becomes wider as becoming more distant from the first side surface. The upper surface arranged on the lower parts of the first and second protrusion units is partially exposed.
