SEALING ARRANGEMENT AT INTERFACE BETWEEN COMBUSTOR AND TURBINE OF GAS TURBINE, AND GAS TURBINE WITH SUCH SEALING ARRANGEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing arrangement which reduces or even eliminates seal weakness in a simple and cost-effective way.SOLUTION: A sealing arrangement 22 is provided at the interface between a combustor 11 and a turbine 12 of a gas turbine. The turbine 12 includes guiding vanes 14 at its inlet. The vanes 14 are each installed within the turbine 12 at their outer diameter by means of a rear outer diameter vane hook and installed at their inner diameter in sealing engagement by means of a front inner diameter vane tooth 23 with a honeycomb seal 24 arranged at the corresponding inner diameter part of the outlet of the combustor 11. The rear outer diameter vane hook allows a relative movement of the vane 14 in a form of a rotation around the hook. The sealing is improved by adapting the front inner diameter vane tooth 23 and the corresponding seal 24 to the relative movement of the vane 14, so that the compression of the seal 24 through transits of the gas turbine is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
