摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an efficiency when a burner device performs a partial combustion.SOLUTION: Burners 8a, 8b and 8c having a plurality of flame ports 9 arranged in rows are arranged in a direction crossing at a right angle with a row of flame ports 9 to form a burner device 1. The combustion surface of the burner device 1 is divided for every combustion surfaces of a plurality of adjoining burners, for example, the divided combustion surfaces 2a, 2b, 2c are selectively and additionally ignited in sequence under a prescribed order every time a combustion capability required at the burner device 1 is increased up by one stage. A water pipe 6 in a heat exchanger 5 installed above the burner device 1 has a pipe passage location 7 extended in parallel or substantially in parallel with a row of flame ports 9 of the burner. Partitioned pipe passages 22a, 22b and 22c partitioned in correspondence with the divided combustion surfaces 2a, 2b, 2c of the burner device 1 are provided and the partitioned pipe passages 22a, 22b and 22c are connected to each other so as to cause water to flow for every partitioned pipe passages 22c, 22b and 22a in an opposite order to the combustion order of the partitioned combustion surfaces 2a, 2b and 2c corresponding to a variation in combustion capability of the burner device 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
