PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a negative electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and a battery pack which enable the improvement of a cycle life.SOLUTION: A negative electrode material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a granular complex including: an organic resin composition; a metal dispersed in the organic resin composition, or a metal and its oxide dispersed in the organic resin composition; and a conductive carbonaceous matter. In the negative electrode material, the elemental ratio A/B of carbon (A) and hydrogen (B) on a mass basis is 1 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
