PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material discharge device which can prevent increase of consumption power due to deceleration of a transportation roller while assuring alignment property of discharged sheet materials.SOLUTION: A sheet material discharge device comprises: a transportation roller for transporting a sheet material; a discharge roller which discharges the sheet material delivered by the transportation roller out of the device; a sheet detection sensor which detects the sheet material passed the transportation roller; a discharge paper tray on which the sheet material discharged by the discharge roller is loaded; a stopper which is so located as to be capable of being stored in the discharge tray, receives a tip of the discharged sheet material and regulates a loading position; a stopper detection sensor which detects a storage state in which the stopper is stored in the discharge tray or a standing state in which the stopper is stood at a position where the discharged sheet material is abutted thereto; and a control part which controls a rotational speed of the discharge roller on the basis of the results detected by the sheet detection sensor and the stopper detection sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
