In the present invention, disclosed is a chip electronic component. The chip electronic component of the present invention comprises: a ceramic body; an external electrode formed at both ends in the width direction of the ceramic body; and an interposer which supports the ceramic body and is electrically in connection with the external electrode. The interposer has a first and a second terminal electrode formed at both ends in the width direction. The first and the second terminal electrode additionally includes a groove part formed from an end towards inside in the width direction of the interposer.
