According to embodiments of the present invention, a battery protection circuit apparatus comprises: first and second switches connected to each other in series between an internal connection terminal and an external connection terminal; a third switch connected to the first and second switches in parallel; and a battery protection circuit individually controlling an electric current application and a cutoff of the first to third switches. The battery protection circuit applies a current to the first and third switches when a charging or a discharging procedure is normally performed, cuts off the first and third switches when overcharging is detected in a battery cell, and cuts off the second and third switches when overdischarging is detected in the battery cell. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the battery protection circuit apparatus to reduce a voltage loss.
