PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reception system and master power reception device capable of suitably receiving discharge power discharged from a power storage device mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: A power reception system 10 for receiving discharge power discharged from a main battery B1 mounted on a vehicle C includes: a master power reception device 11 including a master DC/AC converter 20 and a master power reception control unit 22; and a master cable 13 for connecting the vehicle C with the master power reception device 11. The power reception system 10 further includes: a first slave power reception device 12a that can receive discharge power from the master power reception device 11 and includes a slave DC/AC converter 21; and a first slave cable 14 for connecting the master power reception device 11 with the first slave power reception device 12a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
