PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve low heat generating performance and reinforcement property by suppressing residue of unreacted hydrocarbon.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a modified diene rubber including a process of degrading the diene rubber by oxidation cleavage, reacting reduced carbohydrate with an aldehyde group and/or a keto group in a molecular terminal of the degraded diene rubber with the aldol condensation to obtain a latex containing the modified diene rubber and a process of heating the resulting latex to solidify the modified diene rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
