PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink circulation type ink jet printer capable of creating a set pressure in a pressure tank and a negative pressure tank by one air pump while avoiding the reduction in the degree of freedom of an air system design.SOLUTION: A control part sets an atmosphere opening valve open time at every unit time in accordance with the pressure difference between a pressure tank 21 and a negative pressure tank 24, after the start of an air pump 65 when one of the pressure tank 21 and the negative pressure tank 24 previously reaches a set pressure, and the control for opening the atmosphere opening valve corresponding to one tank having reached the set pressure previously between a pressure application side atmospheric open valve 53 and a negative pressure side atmospheric open valve 60 is performed till the other tank reaches the set pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
