PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode polishing device for thermocompression which allows for recycling of an electrode for thermocompression that is used for wire bonding by thermocompression of the conductor of a wire to a predetermined conductive member, while reducing the bonding cost and eliminating waste of resources, and to provide a recycling method of an electrode for thermocompression.SOLUTION: An electrode polishing device for thermocompression 1 polishing an electrode 60 for thermocompression, for bonding the conductor of a wire to a predetermined conductor member by thermocompression, has a crimping surface polishing section 10 for polishing the crimping surface 61a of the electrode 60 for thermocompression to the wire, and a chamfering section 20 for scraping off the corner 61b of the electrode 60 for thermocompression to be pressed against the wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
