PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which a high-quality polarizer having a non-polarizing part can be efficiently produced.SOLUTION: The production method of a polarizer having a non-polarizing part includes: a step of subjecting a long polarizing film laminate, which includes a polarizer and a surface protective film disposed on one surface side of the polarizer and has an exposed part where the polarizer is exposed on the one surface side, to a wet process; and a process liquid removal step of removing a process liquid used in the wet process.
