PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan-out component in which multipath interference can be minimized.SOLUTION: A fan-out component 1A includes: a connector 20 that collectively houses one ends of a plurality of single core fibers 11; a connector 30 that individually houses other ends of the plurality of single core fibers 11; and a cladding mode light emission portion 13 that is provided between the one ends and the other ends of the plurality of single core fibers 11. Each of the single core fibers 11 has a core that is optically coupled to each core of a multicore fiber connected to the connector 20 through an adapter 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
