PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently drive a DC motor based on output signals from Hall elements.SOLUTION: A position information output device includes: an adjustment part that adjusts a plurality of signals output respectively from a plurality of Hall elements according to the angle of rotation of a motor; a creation part that creates an encoding signal showing the position of rotation of the motor on the basis of the plurality of adjusted signals adjusted by the adjustment part; a storage part that stores data in a nonvolatile manner; and an acquisition part that acquires an adjustment value used by the adjustment part for the adjustment and stores the value in the storage part.
