PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing and a bearing pad that can suppress deformation of a bearing pad without an increase in cost.SOLUTION: The bearing rotatably bears a rotation shaft 1 via the bearing pad 2, where lubricant is supplied between the bearing pad and a borne surface of the rotation shaft.
