PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To joint three components by vibration welding.SOLUTION: A bumper RF 20 is manufactured through the following steps of: a first step of setting a first molding 22 and a second molding 24 in each of a first die 30 and a second die 32; a second step of setting a third molding 25 in a third die 34, where the third molding 25 is formed using a thermoplastic resin material or a metal material when both of the first molding 22 and the second molding 24 are formed using a thermoplastic resin material, and is formed using a thermoplastic resin material when one of the first molding 22 and the second molding 24 is formed using a thermoplastic resin material and both of the first molding 22 and the second molding 24 are formed using a metal material; and a third step of vibrating the third die 34 and vibration welding the first molding 22 and the third molding 25 while bringing the first molding 22 into slide contact with the third molding 25, and vibration welding the second molding 24 and the third molding 25 while bringing the second molding 24 into slide contact with the third molding 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
