PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a release member capable of suppressing a scratch on a contact surface with a lock member of a metal plate when the metal plate is provided on a main body of the release member by insert molding.SOLUTION: The method for attaching a metal plate 96 by insert molding to a main body 86 of a release member 84 which is rotatably and integrally provided with a reel housed in a case and which allows a lock member to move from a lock position where the rotation of a reel is locked to an allowable position where the rotation of the reel is allowed, includes: an arrangement step for arranging the metal plate 96 onto a metal mold 100 without bringing the metal mold 100 into contact with a contact face 96A of the metal plate 96 where a slide contact protrusion of the lock member contacts while bringing the metal mold 100 into contact with an area excluding the contact face 96A; and a molding step for filling resin material in the metal mold 100 onto which the metal plate 96 is arranged and molding the main body 86 to which the metal plate 96 is attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
