PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to quickly display a reproduction image while recording a RAW image.SOLUTION: A RAW image and a reduced RAW image obtained by reducing the RAW image are individually compressed to be recorded in a recording medium. In a predetermined state, a RAW image recorded in the recording medium is read out and receives image development processing in the background to create a developed image. When reproduction of a RAW image is instructed, its developed image is reproduced/output in the case where its image development processing has ended, and its reduced RAW image from the recording medium is reproduced while development means performing development processing at the time of the reproduction to be reproduced/output in the case where its image development processing has not yet ended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
