PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language learning apparatus capable of enhancing the efficiency in language learning by preventing a user from pronouncing simultaneously with or preceding a reference voice under reproduction.SOLUTION: The language learning apparatus (electronic dictionary 1) includes: voice acquisition means (voice input part 55) for acquiring an external voice; reproduction means (voice output section 50) that reproduces a voice; collation means (CPU 20) that collates the voice acquired by the voice acquisition means and the voice under reproduction by the reproduction means; and control means (CPU 20) that controls the conditions for reproducing the voice so as to match with the voice reproduced within a time range in which the acquired voice is set based on the collation result by the collation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
