PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle transmission belt which secures a sufficient contact area irrespective of whether or not yawing occurs at an element.SOLUTION: Since an inclined face 54 forming an angle which is equal to a maximum yawing angle β of an element 32 with respect to a thickness direction of the element 32 is formed at a portion corresponding to a difference of thicknesses of a second flat plate 48 and a first flat plate 46 of a step part 50 in at least either of a pair of contact faces 36, when the yawing occurs at the element 32, a sufficient contact area can be secured by the contact of the inclined face 54 with an input-side pulley 12 and an output-side pulley 14, and when the yawing does not occur at the element 32, the sufficient contact area can be secured by the contact of a portion other than the inclined face 54 at the contact face 36 with the input-side pulley 12 and the output-side pulley 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
