PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor slab widening method that does not require large-scale traffic restriction.SOLUTION: A floor slab widening method is for widening a bridge having a concrete floor slab 1 and a wall structure 2, and comprises: a chipping step in which an edge part of the concrete floor slab 1 is chipped from outside the wall structure 2 by a water jet method, for exposing a main reinforcing bar 1a of the concrete floor slab 1; an extension reinforcing bar connecting step in which an extension main reinforcing bar 5 is connected to the exposed main reinforcing bar 1a of the concrete floor slab 1; a new floor slab construction step in which a new concrete floor slab 7 is constructed by casting concrete on the extension main reinforcing bar 5, the new concrete floor slab being connected and integrated with the existing concrete floor slab 1; and a wall structure removal step in which the existing wall structure 2 is removed following the new floor slab construction step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
