PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging system with which a clearer image can be obtained.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging system (10) is used for inspecting a weld zone (32A) of a welded steel pipe (32). The X-ray imaging system (10) comprises an X-ray source (12), a beam (14) and an X-ray detector (22). The beam (14) is arranged below the X-ray source (12). The beam (14) can be inserted into the welded steel pipe (32). The X-ray detector (22) is arranged on the beam (14). The X-ray detector (22) detects the X-ray emitted from the X-ray source (12) and passing though the weld zone (32A).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
