PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device that has a contact member in contact with a toner on a recording medium provided on the downstream side of non-contact heating means for heating the toner, and suppress an increase or decrease of the temperature of the contact member with respect to a preset temperature compared with a heating device having heating means fixedly arranged therein.SOLUTION: A fixing device 20 includes a heating part 31, a fixing roll 42, and a changing part 50 that changes a relative position of the heating part 31 to the fixing roll 42 while maintaining the distance between the heating part 31 and a sheet P. When the temperature of the fixing roll 42 becomes higher than a preset temperature, the fixing device 20 moves the relative position of the heating part 31 away from the fixing roll 42, and when the temperature of the fixing roll 42 becomes lower than the preset temperature, moves the relative position of the heating part 31 close to the fixing roll 42. The configuration can suppress an increase or decrease of the temperature of the fixing roll 42 with respect to the preset temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
