A fuel supply and combustion chamber system (310) for use within a power tool, comprising a gaseous fuel supply (312) containing a supply of gaseous fuel; portioning valve means (320), fluidically connected to said gaseous fuel supply, for dispensing a predetermined amount of said gaseous fuel from said gaseous fuel supply; and a jet pump (326) having a first end portion fluidically connected to said portioning valve means, and a second end portion adapted to be fluidically connected to a combustion chamber of a power tool, for conveying said predetermined amount of said gaseous fuel, dispensed by said portioning valve means, into the combustion chamber, wherein said portioning valve means comprises a metering valve (320); and a pulse controller operatively connected to said metering valve for controlling said metering valve in order to permit said metering valve to dispense said predetermined amount of said gaseous fuel from said gaseous fuel supply. |
