PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of flattening of an opening/closing valve and high strengthening of a valve element.SOLUTION: In a valve device, an arm inserting portion α provided with an arm-side assembling portion 17 inside thereof, is disposed on a top face of a valve element 16, and a thickness dimension h1 of the valve element 16 and a height dimension h2 of a valve-side assembling portion 18 are overlapped in a vertical direction to satisfy a relationship of "hx<h1". Thus a "height dimension H of an opening/closing valve 13" can be shortened even when "the thickness dimension h1 of valve element 16" is set to be larger to strengthen the valve element 16 high. That is, both of high strengthening of the valve element 16 and flattening of the opening/closing valve 13 can be simultaneously achieved. As a result, a projected area of the opening/closing valve 13 observed from a flowing direction of an exhaust gas can be decreased, and a pressure loss of the exhaust gas flow can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
