PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for ultrasonic endoscope which prevents a body wall from being brought into close contact with an observation window when an ultrasonic transducer is brought into close contact with the body wall, and provide an ultrasonic endoscope.SOLUTION: In a hood 100 for ultrasonic endoscope mounted on an ultrasonic endoscope, a notch part 108 is formed on the tip of the hood 100, a tip angle part on the side of an observation window 44 along the notch part 108 is provided as an eaves-shaped part 106. The eaves-shaped part 106 protrudes toward the front side of the observation window 44, and close contact between the body wall and the observation window 44 is prevented with interposition of the eaves-shaped part 106 between the body wall and the observation window 44 when an ultrasonic transducer 50 is brought into close contact with the body wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
