PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method capable of providing a recorded article having high picture quality and less odor.SOLUTION: There is provided a recording method by using a composition group containing one or more first color ink composition containing a first coloring agent and water as a volatile component, one or more second color ink composition containing a second coloring agent and water as a volatile component, a reaction liquid composition containing a coagulant, and one or more other ink compositions containing water as the volatile component, the method including a first process of adhering the reaction liquid composition to a medium to be recorded to form a recording area S1, a second process of adhering one or more of the first color ink composition and one or more of the other ink compositions to the recording area S1 to form the recording area S2, a third process of adhering one or more of the second color ink composition to the recording area S2 to form the recording area S3, where in the second process, the total adhered amount of water in an area where total adhered amount of water contained in the first color ink composition and the other ink composition is minimum is 50 mass% or more of an area where the total adhered amount of water is maximum.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
