PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination device, determination method, and communication system which can improve efficiency in a path of a media signal in accordance with states of a plurality of networks in any of a first network and a second network or an intermediate position between the first network and the second network.SOLUTION: A determination device, which is arranged in any one of a first network and a second network, or in an intermediate position between the first network and the second network, has a determination section for determining whether processing to optimize a path of a media signal communicated between the first network and the second network is executed or not, on the basis of information included in a control signal communicated between the first network and the second network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
