PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an articulated skeleton model processing device in which two words are connected and natural movement is achieved when reproducing a poly-articular motion using sign language characters by the CG.SOLUTION: An FK-IK converter 6 converts BVH data being FK data into motion path data of a wrist and elbow every sign language word, a word interpolating unit 7 interpolates and connects the connection location of the front and rear sign language word by using the motion path data of the wrist and elbow every sign language word, and the motion path data of the wrist and elbow of the Japanese sentence text is generated. An IK-FK converter 10 converts the motion path data of the wrist and elbow of the Japanese sentence text connected with the front and rear sign language words into BVH data. A renderer 5 generates CG data of the movement of the sign language corresponding to the Japanese sentence text by using the information of the base model such as the BVH data of the Japanese sentence text and the structural skeleton information and integrating these by the FK, and displays it on the screen as a CG character.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
