PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method of soil which can assay lead in the soil and can distinguish whether the lead in the soil comes from acts of man or the nature.SOLUTION: An analytical method of soil comprises: a first step measuring mass content of lead in soil with fluorescence X-ray analysis; a second step comparing the mass content of lead with 150 mass ppm which is a standard value; a third step extracting fractions of the soil; a fourth step measuring [Pb]/[Pb] which is a ratio of an atomic number ofPb in the fraction [Pb] and an atomic number ofPb in the fraction [Pb] with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry; and a fifth step comparing the [Pb]/[Pb] with 0.86 which is a standard value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
