PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill handling device such as an automatic vending machine configured to manage a lower unit by operation from the front and that is remodeled such that although the upper unit including a money reception part, an upper conveyance path etc., is used as it is, the lower unit can be changed in its arrangement position and operated for management from the rear without made large-sized.SOLUTION: A bill handling device comprises a money reception/payment unit 2, a storage-side conveyance part 100 linked to a money reception/payment-side conveyance part 12 when arranged below the money reception/payment unit to receive and deliver bills, a reject box 120, and a bill storage box, comprises a bill storage unit 50 which can make a turn between a first attitude in which a first surface F1 faces the front of a device body and a second attitude in which the first surface faces the back, and also comprises a first communication part T1 which enables bills to be transferred to bill storage devices etc., when the bill storage unit is in the first attitude, and a second communication part T2 which enables bills to be transferred to the bill storage devices when in the second attitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
