PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a fuel cell system reliably detect, even in the case of using fuel's raw material heavier than air for a fuel cell, leakage of the fuel and the raw material thereof.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system includes a controller 15 comprising: an adjustment unit (step S110) for adjusting a duty ratio D of a ventilation fan 41 so that the duty ratio becomes a confirmation duty ratio Dc equal to or larger than a predetermined duty ratio Ds at which a flow F reaching a gas detector 43 is generated by at least any one of first gas and second gas staying in an area having no disposed gas detector 43 in a housing 10a; and a second confirmation unit (step S114) for confirming whether or not the first gas and second gas are detected by the gas detector 43, when the duty ratio D of the ventilation fan 41 has been adjusted to the confirmation duty ratio Dc by the adjustment unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
